Does PostEx Deliver on Sunday? Weekend & Holiday Guide

Sunday doorstep delivery policy

PostEx says it does not deliver to doors on Sundays. If your parcel is waiting for delivery on a Sunday, no delivery try does not mean it is lost or forgotten. Deliveries start again on the next working day.

This is about normal doorstep delivery. We have not found any Sunday service for an extra fee, an emergency counter or special addresses.

Saturday is a normal working day

PostEx delivers and sends out parcels Monday to Saturday. So Saturday is a normal day, not a day off before Sunday. Your parcel can be sent out or delivered on a Saturday, depending on its route and status.

PostEx has not published a Saturday cut-off time or a fixed delivery time. Sellers should plan around their agreed pickup times, and shoppers should check the tracking for the latest update.

A Saturday scan does not mean Monday delivery

A scan on Saturday shows something happened to the parcel. It does not promise delivery the next working day. Wait for the next scan, or ask PostEx about your parcel if the status looks wrong.

What can still happen on Sunday

Even though PostEx does not deliver to doors on Sunday, trucks between cities and sorting hubs can keep working over the weekend. This gets weekend arrivals ready for Monday morning deliveries.

So your parcel may stay “In Transit” or at a sorting centre on Sunday, with no delivery update. Tracking only shows scans that have happened. It does not show every move, and we cannot promise any particular order of scans.

Public holidays and Eid

PostEx says work stops on public holidays and on Eid. Normal work starts again on the next working day. This can change when a pickup, transfer or delivery shows up in your tracking.

Holiday dates and local plans can change, and PostEx has not published a future holiday calendar. Before promising a delivery date around a holiday, check the current plan with PostEx support or through your seller account.

For sellers: plan around the calendar

Over weekends and holidays, show buyers their order number, and add the PostEx tracking number once the parcel is booked. Tell buyers what to expect based on the delivery days, instead of making up a delivery date. You can also check your pickup times with PostEx before a busy period.

If the status has not changed on a day off

If your tracking does not change on a Sunday or public holiday, that can simply be the normal pause in deliveries. Check the latest scan, its date and the next working day before treating the parcel as late. If nothing changes after work starts again, contact PostEx on its helpline.
