PostEx coverage across Pakistan

PostEx says it delivers to more than 650 cities, tehsils and towns in Pakistan. That number is for the whole network. It does not promise that every service is available at every street address. A place can be in the network while the options for your parcel still need checking.

For sellers, the question is not just whether a city is on a list. Ask whether your buyer’s exact address can be booked for the service you want to use. For buyers, keep the tracking number once the parcel is sent, so you can check the parcel separately from the order number.

The coverage figure shows how far PostEx reaches. It does not promise a delivery time, a price or pickup rules for any place.

Sorting hubs in Lahore and Karachi

PostEx has sorting hubs in big cities, including Lahore and Karachi. Hubs are where parcels are sorted before moving on. A scan at one of these hubs does not tell you when your parcel will arrive.

It is easy to think a hub name is the final stop. It is not. Look at the latest tracking update together with the delivery address, and contact PostEx if the route looks wrong for your booking.

What a hub scan can tell you

A hub scan shows that PostEx has handled the parcel. We do not know every scan name or the order in which hubs are used, so only read what the status actually says for your parcel.

Beyond the big cities

PostEx reaches smaller cities, tehsils and towns as well as the big business centres. We do not have a list of local stations or the exact route parcels take. That is why sellers should check a destination before promising buyers a delivery time.

A good address helps when booking. Give the receiver’s full area, phone number and any helpful directions the booking asks for. This is good practice, but it does not replace PostEx confirming that it can deliver to that address.

Same city, other cities and faraway places

The 650+ figure does not tell you how long delivery takes within a city or between cities. It is about reach, not hours or days. Faraway addresses may also have different conditions from addresses in big cities.

Before you accept an order that must arrive by a certain time, ask PostEx about the pickup city, the delivery address, the type of parcel and the service. Keep that answer with the order. This stops a general coverage figure turning into a promise you cannot keep.

How to check a specific delivery address

Use your PostEx seller account or call PostEx customer support on (042) 111 786 227. Give the full delivery address and ask whether the service you want is available. If the parcel is already booked, have its tracking number ready.

Give buyers honest expectations

Tell buyers what you know: PostEx covers more than 650 cities, tehsils and towns, with hubs that include Lahore and Karachi. Do not add delivery dates or rules you have not checked. Send buyers the tracking number once it exists, and point them to PostEx support for questions about their address.

That is more useful than a long list of cities that may go out of date, and it keeps the focus on the parcel itself.
